Use
Cous cous originates from North Africa and is made from coarsely ground durum wheat. It can be eaten as a substitute for pasta and rice in hot and cold dishes, as a side dish or in tasty salads.
Preparation and cooking

Prepare the cous cous by toasting it in a pan with 1 tsp of EVO oil. Bring salted water or vegetable stock (of equal weight to the couscous to be cooked) to the boil, turn off the heat, add the couscous and stir. Cover with a lid and leave to stand for 2 minutes. Crush with a fork and season to taste.
