UseA member of the Piper nigrum family, a plant from the Piperaceae family originally from India, it is used to season numerous dishes in recipes from all over the world. It is ideal for enriching broths, meat and fish dishes as well as first courses, soups and risottos. It is also excellent for adding flavour to cheeses and sweet vegetables such as fennel, carrots and peas.
