Chickpeas are one of the most versatile legumes in the kitchen. Rich in fibers, proteins and minerals, chickpeas can be tasted in many different preparations: with fish for delicious summer appetizers, combined with pasta as a first course, spicy or creamy as a delicious side dish. Chickpeas are also an excellent ingredient for soups and creams, salads and delicious ethnic sauces, such as hummus, a typical Lebanese dish based on chickpeas and sesame. Our chickpeas are ready in just 3 minutes! Once the whole bag is cooked, the chickpeas reach the weight of 400g.
Preparation and cooking

Cook the chickpeas in salted water for 3 minutes after boiling, without lid. Use 150ml of water every 50g of chickpeas. Season and use them to create tasty, colourful and nutritious recipes! Our chickpeas do not need soaking.

    Creamy chickpeas

    Ingredients for 2 people
    1 pack of PreCook Chickpeas, 1/4 leek, 1 carrot, vegetable broth, rosemary, extra virgin olive oil.

    Cut leek and carrot into slices and pour them into a pot with chickpeas, a spoonful of olive oil, rosemary and a scoop of hot broth. Cook with the lid on a low flame for about 20 minutes. Blend everything. Add broth to reach the desired consistency. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
