Lentils are an ancient legume, considered a symbol of wealth because of their particular circular shape, like that of a coin. Lentils favour intestinal transit thanks to their fibers content, they provide a good supply of proteins and, combined with cereals such as farro, they provide the essential amino acids for our organism. Lentils are very versatile: use them for the preparation of vegetable meatballs, soups and salads. Our lentils are ready in just 5 minutes! Once the whole bag is cooked, the lentils reach a weight of 400g.
Preparation and cooking

Cook the lentils in salted water for 5 minutes after boiling, without lid. Use 120ml of water every 50g of lentils. Season or use them to create tasty, colourful and nutritious recipes! Our lentils do not need soaking.

    Healthy and quick baked lentil meatballs

    1 pack of PreCook Lentils, 1/4 onion, 1 boiled potato, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, breadcrumbs and seeds.

    prepare the lentils as indicated on the package and boil the potato at the same time. Pour the lentils and potato in a mixer with the onion, Parmesan cheese, onion, olive oil, salt and pepper. Once blended everything shapes the meatballs and mix breadcrumbs and seeds of your choice. Add some oil and bake in the oven at 200° for 25 minutes.
