Tondini are a special variety of beans, one of the most appreciated and consumed legumes. Tondini beans have a delicate flavour, which makes them perfect in combination with stronger tastes. They are also called bead beans because of their shape and colour and are ideal for soups or salads; they are also delicious with garlic bruschetta, onions and mushrooms. We know how important a varied and balanced diet is, so including different varieties of nutrients is good for our health and allows us to introduce all the substances our body needs. In particular, tondini beans are rich in fibers, plant based proteins and antioxidants such as anthocyanins, which are important in the prevention of degenerative diseases. Our tondini beans are ready in just 2 minutes! Once the whole bag is cooked, the tondini beans reach a weight of 400g.
Preparation and cooking

Cook tondini beans in salted water for 2 minutes after boiling, without lid. Use 100ml of water every 50g of product. Season and use them to create tasty, colourful and nutritious recipes! Our tondini beans do not need soaking.

    Mediterranean tondini beans soup

    A pack of PreCook tondini beans, 200g of tomato sauce, onion, spices (oregano, black pepper, rosemary, basil), vegetable broth, extra virgin olive oil. Optional: black olives.

    Pour the tondini beans in a pot with some broth and onion. After 2 minutes add tomato, spices and a handful of black olives. Once they have reached a creamy and not too liquid consistency, serve the beans with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
